Welcome to my Music Page
I'm something of a music obsessive (Howard jokes it's my part time job). Since I have very little interest in writing about poker, I thought it would be more fun to have a section devoted to music. I've listed here all the CDs on my Ipod.
My original intention was to write a brief blurb about each artist, but it turns out my skills are better suited to poker than they are to writing. As a result, many of the artists don't have notes, but that does not reflect any preferences I might have -- in most cases, it has more to do with their place in the alphabet. If anything sparks your interest, you may want to check out allmusic.com, amazon.com, or pitchforkmedia.com for more detailed reviews. I hope you find something you like...

The National - Boxer
Music Genre: Alternative, Indie
I've been obsessing over this album for the last few months — it somehow keeps finding its way back onto my stereo, and with each new play my appreciation increases. The record will hit you hard from the first song and delivers one knockout song after another. Matt Berninger's vocals come from a deep, dark place and are beautifully framed by guitars, piano, and infectious drum beats. The National’s previous album, Alligator, is also excellent.
